Project dossier / Material Study
Petrichor
Gothic naturalism, industrial luxury, and physical artifact language.
Hero media
Petrichor is a design artifact study for objects, wearables, and atmospheric product systems that feel excavated from a future ruin.
Direction
The project focuses on material contrast: metal, rain, stone, ritual, machine marks, scent, shadow, and utility. It is less a single product than a visual and tactile grammar for future physical releases.
Current questions
- What makes an object feel ancient and futuristic at the same time?
- Which materials communicate weight, restraint, and signal?
- How can design artifacts become identity infrastructure?
